The Environmental Statement of Wiener Stadthalle was audited by the Federal Environmental Agency and the entry in the EMAS legal register was confirmed on 23.08.2022.

 

With the environmental goals set for saving water and electricity, as well as raising the awareness of all employees for an environmentally conscious approach in the company, considerable improvements in the emission factor "CO2 equivalent" can be achieved.

To achieve the goals defined in the environmental management manual, internal audits are carried out by the environmental team - consisting of management, environmental, waste and sustainability officers - which are followed by action planning and implementation.

EMAS stands for "Eco-Management and Audit Scheme" and is a voluntary system in which both companies and other organizations and institutions in the EU member states can participate.

The aim of this system is to promote the continuous improvement of corporate environmental protection.
