Hall D
 

With a capacity of up to 16,000 visitors, Hall D is the heart of the Wiener Stadthalle, which was opened in 1958.

THE MULTIFUNCTIONALITY AND FLEXIBILITY OF THE HALL D

With 92 m length, 17 m height and flexible grandstand elements, Hall D is maximally versatile and can be played in the most diverse versions. From a bird's eye view, 10,000 m² represent the largest roof for entertainment, and in the interior roof area, up to 100 tons of technology can be mounted on the ceiling for state-of-the-art large-scale events.

 

Even more than 60 years after its opening, the outstanding architecture by star architect Roland Rainer proves its worth and sets no limits to events - whether concerts, trade fairs, sporting events, TV shows or company celebrations.

 

Since December 2022, around 3,000 photovoltaic panels have been producing green electricity on the roof of Hall D.
