Wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility
In addition to accessible wheelchair spaces, many events offer special price reductions. The hall setting and pricing vary for each event, depending on the organiser's specifications. Our staff will be happy to provide you with detailed information. Please note that tickets for wheelchair spaces are only available at the Wiener Stadthalle.
Parking spaces
Designated handicapped parking spaces are located at Sorbaitgasse 7 (daily 2pm-2pm) and at Zinckgasse 29 (Mon-Sat weekdays, 8am-6pm).
According to § 29b StVO 1960, persons with permanent severe walking disabilities or drivers of motor vehicles transporting a person with permanent severe walking disabilities may also park in parking spaces for the disabled (including residents' parking spaces) and park their vehicles in short-term parking zones for an unlimited period of time and free of charge.
Our halls
Barrier-free access to our box office foyer is provided by an automatic door system.
In Hall D, the positioning of wheelchair spaces varies from event to event according to the hall version being played. At ground level, you will find barrier-free toilets in the foyer on the north and south sides, as well as in the rear area of the parterre (south-west). There is also a barrier-free toilet on the first tier on the south-west side.
In Hall F, spacious wheelchair spaces are provided in the front half of the auditorium. Accompanying persons can be seated directly in row 17 in front. An elevator on each side provides barrier-free access to the seats. Barrier-free toiletts are located in the foyer.
All disabled toilets at Wiener Stadthalle are fitted with Euro lock cylinders and can be opened with your Euro key at any time during an event.
Visitors with hearing impairments
Hall F and our ticket counters are equipped with an induction loop! These enable wearers of suitably equipped hearing aids to receive high-quality, interference-free audio signals.
Visitors with visual impairments
Visually impaired persons can use the contact options listed above to choose their seats – our staff will be happy to advise you individually and based on their experience, tailored to the seating arrangements for each event.
In exceptional cases (upon presentation of a disability card), tablets may be brought to the event as an aid for visually impaired and blind persons.
