VIENNA: The world's most popular ice show provided unforgettable show moments and world-class figure skating for the more than 60,000 visitors of this year's show SUPERNOVA in the Wiener Stadthalle, a company of Wien Holding. In January 2024, A NEW DAY will celebrate 80 years of Holiday on Ice! Advance ticket sales are already underway.

The guest performance of Holiday on Ice in the Wiener Stadthalle came to an end with fireworks on the ice. On the same day, the 78-member Holiday on Ice team traveled on to Paris.

Ice stars showed their skills

Among the stars of the modern show SUPERNOVA were Wesley Campbell, Vanessa James and Eric Radford. Also outstanding were the reigning world champions and Olympic champions in ice dancing, Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, who also showed their Olympic freestyle exclusively as guest stars of the premiere. For the first time, Celina Profanter and Joelle Maria Nasheim were two Austrians in the ensemble of the spectacular ice show.

In up to three shows per day, the skaters put on breathtaking performances on and above the ice. In addition, they trained on the ice before and after the shows. The hard work of the crew and skaters was rewarded with much applause.

Principal skater Wesley Campbell, who performed all his triple jumps: "We love Vienna. The relationship we build with the audience during each performance is unique in Vienna - simply fantastic!"

City Councillor for Finance Peter Hanke: "I congratulate the entire Holiday on Ice team and the Wiener Stadthalle on this great success. More than 60,000 visitors are the best proof of the high quality of the most popular ice show in the world. On the only 3.5 cm thick ice surface of the Wiener Stadthalle, one of the toughest sports in the world was presented in art form and at Olympic level."

Wien Holding Managing Director Kurt Gollowitzer: "The Wiener Stadthalle offers the greatest cultural diversity in all of Austria, and Holiday on Ice is an annual fixture and a guarantee of success in this regard. Breathtaking figure skating, stunts, acrobatics and many popular hits guarantee a new unforgettable live experience at the pulse of time every year."

Wiener Stadthalle Managing Director Matthäus Zelenka: "Every year Holiday on Ice creates a new world on ice for the Viennese audience and is rewarded with enthusiasm and ticket records. Holiday on Ice surprises us again and again with sophisticated figure skating and breathtaking moments! We are especially looking forward to the anniversary show A NEW DAY, which will come to the Wiener Stadthalle in 2024."
