The rousing 80s cult movie enters its fourth round!

Exactly four decades ago, the dance movie conquered cinema screens and captivated an entire generation. FLASHDANCE not only set cinematic milestones, but also made fashion statements: tight leotards and sweaters that casually slipped over the shoulders decisively shaped the look of the iconic 80s. With its rousing soundtrack, the 1983 blockbuster secured a firm place in pop culture and achieved international cult status with mega hits such as "Flashdance - What a Feeling", "Maniac", "Gloria", "Manhunt" and "I Love Rock & Roll".

Following the great success of the past three tours, the acclaimed musical about the young welder with her burning passion for dance will return to numerous tour cities from fall 2024 and thrill audiences in several new locations. From September to December 2024, audiences can experience world hits and immerse themselves in the lifestyle of the cult decade at FLASHDANCE - DAS MUSICAL. It will kick off with the premiere on September 13 at the Metropoltheater in Bremen, before going on tour to numerous cities such as Dresden, Berlin, Mannheim, Nuremberg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Munich and many more. In Austria, FLASHDANCE can be seen at the Wiener Stadthalle, among other venues.

This captivating reinterpretation of the cult film brings the unique atmosphere of the 80s back to life in a modern show and transports the audience into a world full of nostalgia, joie de vivre, love and big dreams. Rousing dances and impressive choreography take the audience on an emotional journey through one of the most influential eras of pop culture.

Big love, big dream!
The captivating story of FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL takes us into the life of a young woman in Pittsburgh. Alex Owens works in a steel mill by day and as a dancer in a bar by night. But her biggest dream is actually to become a recognized professional dancer. First she falls in love with her boss Nick Hurley, then her dream could come true with an audition at the prestigious academy. But a shadow soon falls over her happiness and Alex has to make a decision: How much is she willing to give up for her dream? A strong woman at the center of the story, who works hard for her dream and dances and lives her very own style.
