Born in Recklinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Elif Akar, better known as Ayliva, is now regarded as one of the biggest pop stars in the German-speaking world. This was already apparent in the talented artist's early years, as Ayliva has had a strong sense of melody and rhythm since her childhood and knew how to convey this to the outside world in her charismatic manner. As a multi-instrumentalist, she began learning to play the piano and guitar at an early age through self-taught video tutorials. The young artist also quickly discovered her flair for poetry: as a child and teenager, Ayliva wrote many poems that captured her inner world on paper. This craft, which she has practiced for years and still does today, is an essential part of her songwriting and the lyrics that move an entire generation.
