For almost two decades, ABBAMANIA THE SHOW has been thrilling audiences in German-speaking countries with its brilliant musical performance, great voices, true-to-the-original costumes and a rousing light and stage show. In 2024 ABBAMANIA THE SHOW will also pay tribute to the most successful pop group of all time and celebrate "50 years of Waterloo" together with the audience!

We go back to Brighton in 1974 - to the place that laid the foundation for ABBA's world career. After Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid were eliminated in the preliminary round in 1973 with "Ring, Ring", they were not discouraged, competed again on 6 April 1974 and won first place in the Eurovision Song Contest with their single "Waterloo". With "Waterloo", ABBA offered the Eurovision audience something new: flashy costumes, a catchy uptempo sound and simple choreography. In addition, the band broke with the convention of singing in their own national language. The single landed in the top 10 of the charts in 21 countries. Since its release, "Waterloo" has charted in 54 countries and is still one of their most successful singles with over 5 million sales.

Who better to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Waterloo" than the biggest ABBA tribute show in the world? ABBAMANIA THE SHOW takes us back to the 70s, when the world fell into ABBA fever and revives the legendary hits like "Mamma Mia", "Dancing Queen", "Lay All Your Love On Me" or "Super Trouper". Songs from the comeback album "ABBA Voyage", released in 2021, provide a breath of fresh air and complete the musical journey through the era of the Swedish cult band. The dazzling spectacle around "50 years of Waterloo" is not only brought to the stage by singers with powerful voices and the grandiose ABBAMANIA band, but also accompanied by the sonorous Symphonic Rock Orchestra.
