The Theater Liberi, known for its imaginative family musicals, presents the famous story from 1001 Nights in a fast-paced and modern version. Well-trained musical actors show the varied facets of the popular characters in this fairy tale about courage, self-determination and friendship. Fantastic lighting effects, elegant costumes and impressive music and choreographies create the perfect backdrop for the mysterious world of Aladdin, Yasmin and Dschinni.

Aladdin leads a life as a simple street boy, until his life is suddenly turned upside down: He has just met Princess Yasmin, who is trying to protect her people from the evil magician Jafar by all means, when he becomes involved in his nasty machinations. Because Jafar finally wants to get rid of the sultan and seize power with the help of a legendary lamp. Aladin of all people is supposed to help him, but the plan goes wrong and Aladin is stuck in a cave. In search of a way out, he discovers the secret of the magic lamp and frees the powerful genie, who quickly turns out to be a real friend. Aladdin's problems seem to be solved in one fell swoop, because where there is a genie, there are also three wishes. But magic alone will not be enough to help Yasmin and thwart Jafar's dark plans...
