The underwater world is in danger! Chaos erupts in Bikini Bottom when a volcano threatens to erupt and destroy the entire town. SpongeBob and his loyal friends are determined to stop the threat and save the town. But the volcano eruption is not the only danger they face: Plankton hatches an evil plan to trick the population of Bikini Bottom.

Stopping the volcanic eruption and Plankton's evil machinations will take a brave hero. But no one in town seems up to the challenge. As Bikini Bottom's grim fate draws ever closer, SpongeBob realizes that the city can only be saved if he and his friends work together.
