Around the birthday of the greatest film composer in the world ENNIO MORRICONE on the 10th November, we honor the late maestro with the announcement of a European tour: his last own concert production. This tour will make an exclusive guest appearance at the Wiener Stadthalle on 20th December 2022.

Immediately after his retirement from the stage in 2019, Ennio Morricone began work on a new concert production that would be understood as his legacy. By mid-2020, the maestro had completed the design for this production, shortly after which he passed away in Rome.

The production features visually stunning scenes from his greatest film classics, special lighting design, and is accompanied on stage by Morricone's longtime soloists. His son Andrea Morricone personally conducts the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and choir.

Andrea Morricone says, "This will be a bittersweet experience for me: I miss my father very much, of course, but to honor him by conducting a full symphony orchestra and choir playing his phenomenal music will be great and deeply emotional, and I'm hugely looking forward to celebrating him with his fans around the world."

"Ennio Morricone - The Official Concert Celebration" is not only a musical tribute but also a personal tribute to the maestro, featuring never-before-seen footage of the legend at work, including outtakes from interviews.
