With "Neu erzählen" Revolverheld release their sixth album. And of course nothing would be more obvious than to explain in detail at this point what the title means: what exactly is to be "neu erzählt"? About the band? Given. Because that's what Revolverheld have done again and again - actually consistently - in almost two decades of career.

What, then, is being retold? The now? The present? Our society? Quite possibly. After all, what we all call life - so the current assumption - will rather not be able to go on like this for much longer. The first single, the title track of the album, allows for both readings.

But maybe everything is also quite different? So, as in the festival summer 2019, in which the band begins work on "Neu erzählen". In the evening, Revolverheld still stood with your countless radio hits on the very big stages. Before and after that, the first song sketches and text fragments for what will become "Neu erzählen" two years later are created in backstage and buses: Unfinished beginnings, conceived ideas - and just as they were about to condense the loose ends into songs and an album, the pandemic intervenes.
