The successful tour production with UWE KRÖGER as Phantom comes back to Austria!
Since 2010, "Das Phantom der Oper" by the author team Deborah Sasson and Jochen Sautter has captivated audiences on over 500 stages in Europe. This new musical production, which was once created for the 100th anniversary of the novel "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra" written by Gaston Leroux in 1910, is thus one of the most successful tour musicals in Europe. The production stands out from all previous musical interpretations of the literary material, in that it adheres more closely to the novel and incorporates well-known opera quotations in parts of the music composed by Sasson.
Following the outstanding success of the 2019/20 tour and at the request of her fans, world star Deborah Sasson has been persuaded once again to perform the role of Christine on stage in the 2022/23 season. The interaction of the singer with Germany's musical star number 1, Uwe Kröger, who continues to play the role of the Phantom, was celebrated by the audience and press everywhere.
Christine is torn between two fascinating men, her mysterious mentor, the Phantom of the Opera, and her childhood love, the rich and attractive Count Raoul. A real musical highlight!
