As the organizer Ovation Events GmbH has announced, due to the current developments around COVID-19 and the related restrictions in the event area, the first replacement date (29. & 30.12.2020) of "Der Nussknacker" in the Wiener Stadthalle unfortunately has to be postponed again.
The ballet "Der Nussknacker" will now take place on the 09. January 2022.

Fri, 18.12.2020 | Tue, 29 & Wed, 30.12.2020 | NEW: Sun, 09.01.2022
Tickets for the original Vienna date (18.12.2020) or the first replacement date (29 & 30.12.2020) remain valid for the new date on the 09. January 2022.

The Nutcracker just in time for Christmas
Fabulous Russian ballet art for young and old.
The ballet "The Nutcracker" is based on Alexandre Dumas' version of the story "Nutcracker and Mouse King" by E.T.A. Hoffmann. Tschaikowski´s musical realisation was first performed on 18. December 1892 in St. Petersburg under the choreography of Lew Iwanow and inspired children and adults alike.

The focus is on Marie. On Christmas Eve she receives a nutcracker as a gift from her godfather Drosselmeyer. As she goes to sleep, she dreams of a battle between the toy soldiers led by the nutcracker and the army of the Mouse King. With her help, the Nutcracker wins, who turns into a prince. The prince travels with Marie to the realm of sweets. The tour leads through the fir forest to Zuckerburg Castle, where the resident sugar fairy organizes a party in honor of her guests...
