The story is inspired by the Shirvan carpet, now preserved in the Louvre. Hidden within its intricate patterns lies the story of a human destiny — a key to memory that has the power to bring love back to life.

A vibrant and captivating production that promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family. On stage are 40 ballet dancers and six young students from the Astana Choreography Academy. Including the production and technical teams, more than 100 people are involved in bringing this project to life. With 200 unique costumes, elaborate sets, and stunning visual effects, the audience is transported from an Oriental bazaar to turn-of-the-century Vienna.

The role of Leyla is performed by Tatiana Ten, a prima ballerina and former soloist with the Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse, France, who also trained at La Scala in Milan. The role of Samir is performed by Sundet Sultanov, recipient of the prestigious Benois de la Danse award. The role of Margot is performed by Natalia Fernández Menes, a prima ballerina and graduate of the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.
