The gripping stories and legendary characters of the beloved fantasy series “Game of Thrones” and “House of the Dragon” come to life musically in this concert.
With over 150 performances across four countries and thousands of attendees, the successful concert series “Game of Thrones – The Concert Show” has already proven to be immensely popular. Now, combined with the successor series “House of the Dragon”, a new and unique show experience unfolds.
The Soundtrack – A Masterpiece:
The Emmy-winning Game of Thrones soundtrack is musically outstanding and deeply woven into the storytelling. Ramin Djawadi’s masterpiece shines with suspenseful sequences perfectly tailored to the characters and their journeys. With every powerful note of the iconic theme and the haunting motifs that drive the narrative, the audience is drawn into the turbulent world of Westeros. Likewise, the soundtrack of House of the Dragon, which explores the deep roots of the Targaryen dynasty, offers fresh and captivating sounds and themes.
A Composer with Visionary Talent:
Ramin Djawadi, the talented composer from Duisburg, has developed his own distinctive style after studying under Hans Zimmer. His soundtracks for both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon have thrilled fans and brought him international acclaim. With every beat and melody, Djawadi has created a sonic landscape that touches the heart and soul of the audience, taking them on an emotional journey.
The renowned Cinema Festival Symphonics ensemble, conducted by Stephen Ellery, now brings these melodies to the stage in grand style. Accompanied by soloists and choir, the performance takes the audience on a majestic musical journey through the realms of the Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen families.
The Stories of George R. R. Martin:
While Game of Thrones captivated audiences worldwide with its gripping storyline centered around main character Jon Snow since 2011, the spin-off House of the Dragon has also garnered immense popularity. Set around 200 years before Jon Snow and the Stark family become aware of the threat of the White Walkers, House of the Dragon focuses—true to its name—on the Targaryen family and their dragons. Now already into its second season, the series compellingly tells the origin story of fan-favorite Daenerys Targaryen and her family—naturally, always underscored by an epic soundtrack.
