With “In the Middle – Acoustic”, Herbert Grönemeyer thrilled audiences this year in Dortmund and Berlin, performing with his band, choir, and orchestra. Both musicians and fans were in top form, creating unforgettable evenings – with more than 90,000 tickets sold in just two cities. Due to the overwhelming demand, the success story continues in 2026: in February, Grönemeyer and his ensemble will perform eight additional concerts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The final show of this special concert series will take place in Vienna.

Despite the acoustic concept, “In the Middle – Acoustic” is anything but a concert of quiet tones. The program includes powerful rock classics such as “Alkohol”, “Vollmond”, and “Bochum”, presented in newly arranged versions that bring fresh intensity to the songs from over four decades of Grönemeyer’s career. Performed on a specially designed center stage, the show creates a uniquely intimate atmosphere – an evening full of emotion, energy, and connection between artist and audience.
