After two terrific headline slots at Clam Rock and Lovely Days Festival 2022, the most iconic of all cult bands Deep Purple is coming back to Austria in 2023!

Since April 2022 with Simon McBride on guitar, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice and Don Airey are ready to conquer the rock world live again - including rumors of work on a new album. As fans know, the lineup is now Mark IX in the long as successful band history. Yet Deep Purple have always remained true to their musical roots, creating an unmistakable sound from an eclectic mix of styles that both defines the band today and leaves a legacy that very few acts will ever be able to repeat. In over 50 years, they have written and produced so many classics that their audience is very broad in terms of age and background - a fact that the band always takes into account with their setlists.

There are hardly enough superlatives to adequately acknowledge the contribution Deep Purple has made to rock music. The anticipation for Rock Royalty is logically enormous.

studio album: sky high, far out and still earthy. Over a year in preparation, on
several sleep-deprived 72-hour sessions, Mother's Cake focus on the ten new tracks.
Cake concentrate on the essentials in the ten new tracks of "Cyberfunk!": they bundle their
raw live energy into a dynamically dense and constantly surprising album,
that sounds like vintage madness and is fully in the moment.
